Best Cash or Crash strategies: Win more by doing this!

So you’re playing Cash or Crash by Evolution Gaming, and you can’t break a profit. We’ve been there, trust us.

However, we’ve gone past that point as well, and we’re here to help you out.

By the end of this article, we’ll reveal our best Cash or Crash strategies that allow us to stay in the game longer and increase our odds of winning!

Best Cash or Crash strategies

Since we’re not in the business of wasting your time, we’re going to get straight to the point. Below is a list of our favorite Cash or Crash strategies that we tested extensively and found to work the best.

Best Cash or Crash Strategies include:

  • Bankroll Management
  • Taking Half of Money in Each Round
  • Cashing out in Round 1
  • Break-Even Strategy

Bankroll management

This isn’t a gambling strategy that’s unique to Cash or Crash. However, it is our favorite gambling strategy ever, and it applies to just about any casino game out there.

We discussed Bankroll management techniques in our guide to crash gambling strategies. In that article, we revealed bankroll management techniques that help us:

  • Not blow up your account in the first 15 minutes
  • Learn the importance of tracking your bets
  • Stay in the game longer and win more over an extended period of time
  • Last but not least, they give you complete control over your gambling

Make sure you read up on responsible bankroll management and implement these techniques in your strategic thinking when playing Cash or Crash!

Taking half in each round

After each green ball gets drawn in Cash or Crash, you’re faced with three options:

  • Continue playing and risk it all in the next round
  • Take half and let the rest ride it out
  • Take it all and cash out those sweet, sweet profits

Alongside responsible bankroll management strategies, our all-time favorite Cash or Crash strategy involves cashing out 50% of our winnings after each green ball.

Get back what’s yours!

Cashing out 50% after each green ball allows you to quickly recover our initial bet amount!

Sure, you’re not always going to be able to recover your full initial bet amount since the game can crash in any round, even the first one.

take half option in cash or crash
You have about 10 seconds between each level to make your choice!

Let’s say we place a $20 bet and follow this strategy!

  • Round 1: We win and cash out $12 of our $24 win from the 1.2X multiplier in the first round! We have already recovered more than half of our initial bet.
  • Round 2: If we win again, we take half ($9.6) from our $19.2 win with a 1.6X on the $12 we still had in the game. Hooray, we already won back our initial bet and grabbed a small profit!

By repeating this process until a red ball ultimately gets drawn, you can greatly increase your odds of staying profitable.

Sure, the game can crash in round 1, and you lose it all, but if it doesn’t (and statistically speaking, there’s a 71% chance it won’t), you will certainly recover more than half of your initial bet amount if not more!

We recommend continuously cashing out 50% of your winnings and positioning yourself in a way that the next red ball doesn’t even phase you. That’s the key!

Cashing out in Level 1

This strategy is often used by players that place big bets. The cash-out after the first round of Cash or Crash is 1,20X. If you place a big enough bet, that’s not a bad payday.

This strategy makes sense when you consider the fact that the lottery drum in Cash or Crash contains:

  • 19 green balls
  • 8 red balls
  • 1 golden ball

Statistically speaking, there’s a much bigger chance a green or a golden ball gets drawn in the first round of the game.

There’s a 71.42% chance of winning with this strategy based on the ratio of green and gold balls to red balls!

If you plan on betting big, this strategy might be for you!

Break-even strategy

If you’ve read our Cash or Crash review, then you must know what we’re talking about when we mention the Cash or Crash paytable.

Check the paytable in our Cash or Crash game review!

If you analyze that paytable, you’ll see that if you make it to round 3, you’ve broke even! Bravo!

Many players favor this strategy since it allows them to partake in some risk, but once they make it to round 3, they can easily take out half of their winnings and win back their initial bet amount!

Here’s how that looks in practice. Let’s say we place a $20 bet.

  • Round 1: We win and continue playing with $24 since we just won with a 1.2X multiplier!
  • Round 2: We win again and continue playing with $32! We just won a 1.6X multiplier!
  • Round 3: The last step! We have to win this one! If we do, we win $40 with a 2X multiplier. It’s at this point that we take out 1/2 of our winnings, which means we just won back our initial bet, and we’re playing on with our profits!

This strategy does expose you to some more risk compared to our favorite strategy, where we cash out half of the money in every round. However, you still take on a reasonable amount of risk while significantly increasing your chances for big profits!

Cash or Crash strategies other players are using

After watching all the YouTube and Tiktok videos related to Cash or Crash strategies, we’ve been able to extract three strategies we see most commonly used. The truth is, some of these strategies aren’t bad, but they just aren’t easy to replicate or reliable in the long term.

If you learn quicker in practice, head straight to BC.Game and play along with us!

Golden ball strategy

Most Youtube videos dealing with Evolution Gaming’s Cash or Crash game show people riding out a series of green balls while under the protection of the golden ball. This may look simple, and it is, but the problem, it doesn’t happen that often.

Keep in mind!

After a gold ball gets drawn, you cannot cash out until the red ball gets drawn!

We wouldn’t really call this a strategy. It’s all luck, you cannot play with the “wait for the golden ball strategy” all the time, you can only do so when the golden ball gets drawn.

if you’re lucky enough to ride out a wave of green balls under the protection of the green ball, we highly recommend you cash out half of your winnings as soon as possible.

The video below does a better job of explaining this “strategy”.

The Martingale strategy

It’s true you cannot automate the Martingale strategy in Cash or Crash, but that doesn’t mean you can’t play it manually. And many players decide to do so. Should you? Never.

Read our full guide on the Martingale strategy to see exactly why this isn’t a good idea.

Following the blips

Between each level of Cash or Crash, two little blips show up. The green one tells you the chances of a green ball being drawn in the next round, and the red one tells you how likely it is that a red ball gets drawn in the next round.

You can see those two blips in the image below!

blips in cash or crash
Listen to yourself and your reason, not just the blips!

A lot of players tend to fully rely on the odds given by the two blips. We’re not saying that the odds aren’t realistic, but they can give you a false sense of hope and push you to continue playing with all your funds.

Listening to the blips is smart, but make sure you’re not risking it all just because the odds seem good. Take half and play on with the rest!

Final thoughts

We’re used to providing real proof whenever test out crash gambling strategies, but unfortunately, there is no live statistics feature in Cash or Crash. But trust us when we say that these strategies really do help!

When we say that these strategies do help, we mean it. But that’s all they are, help, not magic. They help you increase your odds of winning, but that is pretty much it. They do not guarantee you profits.

Sorry to break it to you!

Remember, Cash or Crash is a purely luck-based crash game! Nothing is guaranteed.

That being said, Cash or Crash still holds a special place in our hearts. It is hands-down one of the most entertaining and creative crash games out there. You have to try it.

The best place to do so is our top-rated crash casino, BC.Game!
