ERC-20 Casinos: Where to gamble with Ethereum-based tokens

Looking to gamble with Ethereum or use your Tether for casino play? You’re not the only one.

Most crypto gamblers already have ERC-20 tokens in their wallets, and many of the best casinos support them.

But which platforms actually make it easy and cheap to use ERC-20 for gambling?

I tested dozens of sites and tokens to find out where it’s worth playing and where gas fees still burn a hole in your balance.

🔑 Key takeaways

  • ERC-20 is the most widely supported token standard in crypto casinos
  • Tokens like ETH, USDT, and SHIBA offer great liquidity, but come with gas fees
  • Most platforms require Metamask or a similar Ethereum wallet for deposits
  • If gas fees are too high, you can consider TRC-20 or BEP-20 as cheaper alternatives

Best ERC-20 casinos on the market

If you’re holding ERC-20 tokens like ETH and USDT, or any other Ethereum-based tokens, these three casinos make the most of what the ERC-20 standard has to offer.

I’ve personally tested each of them for ERC-20 support, bonuses, and gas fee handling and here’s what stood out.

BC.Game

bc game

BC.Game is one of the most ERC-20-friendly casinos out there.

You can deposit with ETH, USDT, SHIBA, and dozens of other Ethereum-based tokens.

Thanks to multichain support, you’re not locked into mainnet: you can use cheaper options like Arbitrum, BSC, or Polygon for the same stablecoins.

The platform also stands out with its BC Originals – provably fair games like Crash, Dice, and Classic Plinko that you can play directly with ERC-20 coins.

Add in a four-part welcome bonus and daily Lucky Wheel spin, and it’s hard to beat BC.Game for token variety and perks.

Pros

  • Huge ERC-20 token list
  • Multichain stablecoin support
  • Original 99% RTP games
  • No deposit fees

Cons

  • KYC may trigger on large withdrawals
  • Ethereum gas fees still apply if you use mainnet

If you want a casino that gives you full freedom over your tokens and networks, BC.Game may be the best choice.

Jackbit

JackBit Solana Casino Lobby

JackBit supports key ERC-20 tokens like ETH, USDT, and SHIBA with fast, anonymous transactions and no deposit limits.

While it doesn’t have as many multichain options as BC.Game, it nails the low-friction experience that crypto gamblers love.

I absolutely adore the neat on-site exchange (powered by Changelly and Swapped) where you can convert tokens, including ERC-20 ones.

And since JackBit doesn’t force KYC unless something suspicious happens, you can enjoy higher levels of privacy while playing.

Pros

  • No deposit limits
  • Fast deposits and withdrawals
  • ERC-20 tokens fully supported
  • Built-in crypto exchange

Cons

  • No player chat feature
  • Max win limit capped at $100,000 per bet

If you want speed and simplicity without KYC walls, JackBit may be the best choice.

Cloudbet

cloudbet doge casino new

Cloudbet has been around since 2013, and it shows – there’s solid ERC-20 integration, especially for USDT and ETH.

You can fund your account and get access to a wager-free bonus (up to $2,500), which is rare among long-standing platforms.

The interface is sleek, ERC-20 tokens are clearly labeled, and the Rewards Calendar feature means your gas fees might be offset with cashback.

Cloudbet doesn’t support as many alternative chains as BC.Game, but it makes up for that with trust and clean execution.

Pros

  • Wager-free welcome bonus
  • Longstanding reputation
  • Great for ETH and USDT users
  • Seamless sportsbook and casino integration

Cons

  • KYC required above certain withdrawal thresholds
  • No in-house (original) games

If you want a more traditional, trusted casino that still works perfectly with ERC-20, Cloudbet may be the best choice.

Top ERC-20 coins for gambling

Not all ERC-20 tokens are casino-ready, but a handful of them are perfect for crypto gambling. These are the most supported and useful ones – whether you’re playing slots, Crash, or poker.

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is the most accepted ERC-20 coin in crypto casinos. It’s your default pick if you want wide support and deep liquidity.

But be warned: mainnet gas fees can still sting, especially when the network’s busy.

That’s why many players rely on MetaMask casinos, where switching to Layer-2 networks like Arbitrum or Polygon is as easy as one click. ETH remains the gold standard for ERC-20 gambling, just use it smartly.

Tether (USDT)

USDT is by far the most used stablecoin in crypto casinos. It’s ERC-20-based by default, but you’ll usually get the option to deposit via Tron or BSC to avoid Ethereum’s high gas fees.

For players in Europe, though, it’s worth checking out the latest on the Tether ban in the EU – some crypto exchanges may restrict Tether due to MiCA compliance rules.

USD Coin (USDC)

USDC is the safer cousin of Tether – fully regulated, dollar-pegged, and now widely accepted in crypto casinos.

Using USDC for gambling is ideal for those who want low volatility but also value transparency and compliance.

If you’re looking to bet with it, it’s a safe choice, just make sure you won’t be 100% anonymous.

Shiba Inu (SHIBA)

SHIBA started as a meme, but it’s now one of the most recognized ERC-20 tokens around. It’s cheap to move, easy to store, and supported by all big meme coin casinos on the market.

SHIBA’s fun to gamble with, especially for meme coin fans who want something lighthearted. Just keep an eye on the price swings – it’s not exactly stablecoin material.

Dai (DAI)

DAI is unique: it’s a decentralized stablecoin that holds its peg using Ethereum-based smart contracts. That makes it one of the few stablecoins not reliant on a central authority.

If you want a censorship-resistant way to gamble with dollars, DAI casinos might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Pros and cons of using ERC-20 tokens

ERC-20 tokens are super popular in crypto casinos, but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect. Here’s what I’ve learned from years of playing with ETH, USDT, and other Ethereum-based assets.

Pros

  • Widely accepted
ERC-20 tokens like ETH and USDT are supported at virtually every crypto casino. You’ll never struggle to find a place to deposit or withdraw.
  • Compatible with most wallets
If you’re using MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or a hardware wallet like Ledger, you’re good to go. ERC-20 is the default standard on Ethereum, and nearly all wallets support it out of the box.
  • Access to stablecoins
Stable ERC-20 tokens like USDT, USDC, and DAI let you gamble without worrying about price swings. Your $100 stays $100, regardless of what the market’s doing.
  • Strong network security
Ethereum is one of the most secure and battle-tested blockchains. When you’re moving large amounts, that extra security layer matters.

Cons

❌ Gas fees can be high
If you’re depositing with ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum mainnet, be ready to pay a few bucks, or more, per transaction. Even small bets can get expensive fast if you’re not careful.
❌ Speed isn’t great under load
During high congestion, Ethereum transactions slow down. You might be stuck waiting several minutes for your deposit to confirm, unless you pay extra to speed it up.

How to deposit with ERC-20 tokens

Depositing with ERC-20 tokens is easy but there are a few things to keep in mind if you want to avoid high fees or failed transactions. Here’s how to do it right:

  1. Choose a compatible wallet
MetaMask is the most popular option, but Trust Wallet or any Ethereum-compatible wallet will work.
  2. Pick a casino that accepts ERC-20
Make sure the casino accepts the exact token and network you’re using. USDT on the Ethereum mainnet is not the same as USDT on Tron.
  3. Connect your wallet or get the deposit address
Some casinos let you connect directly via MetaMask. Others will give you a unique deposit address – double-check it matches the right network.
  4. Send the tokens
Confirm the gas fee and send your ETH, USDT, USDC, or any other ERC-20 token. Don’t forget to leave a little ETH in your wallet for gas.
  5. Wait for confirmation
Depending on the network, your deposit should arrive within 1–5 minutes. The Ethereum mainnet might take longer during peak times.

Best ERC-20 alternatives

ERC-20 tokens are everywhere, but they’re not always the smartest choice. If you’re tired of gas fees or slow transactions, these alternatives offer faster and cheaper options:

  • TRC-20 (Tron): Lightning-fast and ultra-cheap. USDT on Tron is the top choice for many gamblers. Yet, its support isn’t as wide nowadays.
  • BEP-20 (Binance Smart Chain): BNB Chain’s token format supports USDT, USDC, ETH, and more, without Ethereum’s congestion or costs. It’s widely accepted and efficient.
  • SPL-20 (Solana): Solana’s token standard brings blazing speeds and low fees. While not yet as widespread, some casinos do support SPL-20 deposits.
  • Polygon (MATIC): A Layer 2 solution for Ethereum that keeps ERC-20 compatibility but slashes gas fees. Perfect for MetaMask users who want smoother gameplay without network switching.

Final words

ERC-20 tokens remain the gold standard for crypto gambling, thanks to their wide support and wallet compatibility. But they’re not always the cheapest or fastest.

If gas fees are slowing you down, consider switching to TRC-20 or Polygon to keep your balance intact. Knowing your network options can save you time – and lots of money down the road.
