Mines by Thrill Originals entered the market in July 2025, and from the very first moments of testing, I could tell it was not a rushed first release.

Everything about this game feels intentional, polished, and contemporary. Where many new casinos launch Originals that look like reskinned templates, Thrill clearly invested in proper design and UX work.

The result is a Mines game that already stands comfortably next to the likes of Stake and BC.Game in terms of quality.

Gameplay experience and features

The core gameplay remains true to the genre. Pick your mine count, click tiles, and cash out before you explode. Yet Thrill adds its own spin with expanded field sizes and excellent performance across all devices.

Desktop gameplay experience

mines by thill originals on desktop

Playing Mines on desktop is smooth and visually appealing. Thrill has a very distinct aesthetic across their entire platform, and this game fits perfectly.

Compared to JackPotter Panda Mines, where the interface feels awkward and unpolished, Thrill’s Mines is cohesive and clearly built by a more experienced team.

The default 5×5 field works exactly as players expect, but Thrill does something unique. You can expand the grid all the way to 8×8.

This completely changes the gameplay rhythm. Clearing tiles on an 8×8 layout with up to 63 mines introduces a level of volatility and tension that only high-risk players will appreciate. No other major casino original currently offers this, so Thrill earns big points here for innovation within the classic Mines format.

Bet adjustments are straightforward. Controls are positioned where you expect them, and the spacing is excellent. Everything scales smoothly in theater mode and high-resolution screens. There is no clutter, no weirdly oversized buttons, and no confusing menu placement. It feels like a product that was professionally tested before launch.

Performance is also as good as it gets. In more than fifty hours of testing, I did not hit a single freeze, lag, or missed input. That is the level of stability that most Originals strive toward.

Mobile gambling experience

Thrill’s Mines translates perfectly to mobile devices. I tested it on iOS and Android, and the game consistently loaded fast and responded instantly. Nothing stutters, nothing misaligns, and I never experienced input delays, even when switching between field sizes.

Mobile experience is absolutely flawless.

There is no feature loss between desktop and mobile. All game speed modes, hotkeys, fairness tools, and mine selectors are available. The touch targets are well balanced, and the interface never feels cramped. This is in sharp contrast to some provider games where button spacing becomes a problem on small screens.

If anything, the Mines experience feels even more immersive on mobile. The animations are smooth, the tile reveals are clean, and turbo speed feels natural with touch controls. Thrill clearly took the time to ensure mobile was not an afterthought.

Leaderboard and Statistics

Thrill does not rely on gimmicks to keep players engaged. Instead, they lean on features that actually matter, like detailed statistics and real-time results.

For players who enjoy tracking patterns or analyzing mine distributions, this is a genuinely helpful tool.

There are also in-game leaderboards showing high wins and lucky wins, similar to what the other top casinos provide for their originals. This adds a competitive flavor without overwhelming the UI.

Most importantly, fairness verification is available directly in the game. You can modify your seed values and check each round using Thrill’s real-time provably fair system. It is transparent, well documented, and earns a fairness score of 5.

Gameplay Options

Manual Mode

You can see Thrill keeps manual betting mode really simple, just how it should be.

Manual play gives you full control. You can:

  • Set your bet amount
  • Choose your mine count
  • Pick between field sizes from 5×5 to 8×8
  • Click tiles manually or use the random reveal option

The cashout button is instantly responsive, and the risk-reward progression climbs predictably as you clear tiles. You can save your mine settings so switching between configurations is fast. I never had issues with incorrect inputs or accidental taps.

One standout feature is the expanded mine range. On a 5×5 board, you can pick anywhere from 1 to 24 mines. On an 8×8 board, that range expands up to 63 mines. This gives players complete freedom to create hyper-volatile or ultra-conservative setups.

Auto Mode

Thrill includes the same automation depth you find in top Originals. Auto mode lets you:

  • Select the number of automated rounds
  • Increase or decrease bet amount after wins or losses
  • Return to initial bet after specific outcomes
  • Stop the session when a profit target is reached
  • Stop automatically if balance drops below a threshold

This means you can fully automate strategies like Martingale, Reverse Martingale, or flat betting. The system is reliable, and I never saw the auto mode misbehave or skip logic steps.

Game Speed Modes

Thrill offers three speed settings:

  • Standard
  • Turbo
  • Beast (no animations, pure speed)

Beast mode is incredibly fast and ideal for players who run thousands of rounds per session.

Pros and Cons

Pros

✅ Clean and modern design
✅ Excellent performance across all devices
✅ Expanded field sizes up to 8×8
✅ Flexible mine selection up to 63 mines
✅ Advanced auto-betting tools
✅ Full provably fair system with seed control
✅ Hotkeys and multiple gameplay speed modes
✅ High max bet and high max win potential

Cons

❌ Lack of unique thematic elements may feel too classic for some players

Final Thoughts

Mines by Thrill Originals is one of the strongest new Mines releases in years. It looks great, performs flawlessly, and offers features that genuinely improve gameplay.

The expanded field options and advanced automation elevate the classic Mines format without compromising simplicity. With a high RTP, high max bet options, and rock solid fairness tools, it is easy to recommend this to both casual players and high rollers.

Thrill proved they can stand shoulder to shoulder with established casinos. This is a top tier Mines game with no real weaknesses.
