Plinko+ is Pragmatic Play’s first take on plinko.

They are well known for amazing crash titles such as Spaceman, but they’ve just entered the plinko arena and my expectations are high.

Did they live up to them? Hmm…

Gameplay Experience & Features

After several hours of testing, Plinko+ came across as polished, professional… and kind of forgettable.

But when you stack it next to titles like BGaming’s Plinko 2 or Spribe’s lightning-fast Plinko, it’s clear this is a basic version wrapped in Pragmatic’s trademark UI polish, rather than a fresh spin on the genre.

Desktop Gameplay Experience

Let’s start with the one thing we lovedthose payout numbers at the bottom of the board.

plinko+ pragmatic play

Finally, a Plinko game where the win multipliers aren’t squint-inducing. They’re bold, huge, and easy to track, even from a quick glance on a second monitor.

Visually, the game fits the Pragmatic mold: clean, responsive, and modern.

The layout places the board front and center, with bet controls, risk selection, and auto-play tucked neatly underneath. You get the standard three risk levels and a row selector between 8 and 16, both of which update the payout ladder dynamically.

Compared to games like Plinko X by Smartsoft or BC Originals Plinko, there are fewer standout quirks.

There’s no special visuals beyond the neat bouncing animation, and certainly no bonus-layer madness like in BGaming’s Respin Vortex or Multiplier Ball features.

There’s also no mention of a Drops & Wins promo or any ongoing incentive program attached to Plinko+ for now.

Leaderboard & Statistics

If you’re into competitive grind, there’s no real leaderboard to speak of here. No daily race, no ranked rewards, no bragging rights. Plinko+ seems aimed squarely at solo play.

There is a history tab, and it functions fine. It lets you track recent results and multipliers hit, but lacks deeper performance tracking.

Mobile Gambling Experience

Pragmatic’s mobile experience is always solid, and Plinko+ is no exception. It loads quickly, animations are silky smooth, and all controls are thumb-friendly.

In portrait mode, everything resizes smartly, and the big payout numbers remain crystal clear, which again, deserves praise.

Speaking of battery saver mode, yes, it’s there. And no, it didn’t really do anything.

We played long sessions with and without it, and saw no measurable difference in battery drain or lag. It feels like one of those features that look great in a changelog, but don’t really impact the player experience in the wild.

Gameplay Options

Manual Mode

Manual play is simple and clean. You tap, ball drops, and the result shows up with a satisfying bounce and click. Minimum bet is just $0.10, and max caps at $250, which is one of the higher ceilings in Plinko.

There’s no bonus mechanic, no “Repeat Bet” button, and no gimmicks. That’s either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you’re looking for. For players chasing volatile, dynamic games, this will feel flat.

Also worth noting: no option to save your favorite settings, which feels like an oversight.

Auto Mode

automated betting options on plinko + pragmatic play

The automation is competent but conservative. You can set a number of rounds to play and combine that with one of three speed modes:

  • Quick Spin – Reduces animation time
  • Turbo Spin – Removes animation entirely
  • Skip Screens – Instantly displays results

Plinko+ doesn’t support bet adjustment on win/loss, loss limits, profit goals, or multiplier targets. So while auto spin is smooth, it’s not strategy-friendly.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Excellent UI, especially for mobile
  • Big, readable multiplier display
  • Fast, smooth animations
  • Clean auto spin options (turbo, skip)
  • Battery saver mode (even if cosmetic)

❌ Cons

  • No bonuses, respins, or multiplier balls
  • Basic gameplay loop
  • No leaderboard or performance tracking
  • Weak automation for strategy players
  • Nothing innovative for veteran Plinko fans
  • No fairness transparency or provably fair tools

Final Thoughts

Plinko+ is a clean, no-nonsense Plinko game wrapped in a sleek Pragmatic Play shell. It won’t blow your mind, but it does what it’s meant to do.

With a 97.5% RTP, it edges out titles like Plinko X (97%) , though it still falls short of BGaming’s Plinko 2 at a whopping 99% RTP.

If you’re just getting into Plinko or want something intuitive to play in short bursts, Plinko+ is a solid option.
