BGaming’s Plinko 2 instantly stood out in our testing queue, and not just because we’ve already reviewed its predecessors, Plinko and Plinko XY. While the first two titles were decent yet straightforward variations of the classic format, Plinko 2 feels like a proper evolution, not just a reskin.

Let’s see if that’s true.

Gameplay Experience & Features

I spent real hours dropping plinko balls, poking at settings, checking for bugs, comparing performance across devices, and yes, losing some crypto along the way in the name of research.

Let’s kick things off on desktop.

Desktop Gameplay Experience

When was the last time you saw such a chaotic plinko board?

Visually, Plinko 2 keeps BGaming’s signature layout: betting history on the left, plinko board on the right. It’s familiar if you’ve played their older titles, but somehow cleaner and more feature-rich here.

The real magic, though, comes from the Buy Features section.

This is where BGaming has clearly taken some creative liberties, and we’re thankful for it. You can activate one or more of the following:

  • Multiplier Feature: Up to three floating 2x multipliers hover on the board. If your ball hits one, the win gets doubled—on top of the usual landing multiplier.
  • Respin Chance: Adds glowing vortexes at the bottom of the board. If your ball lands in one, you get a free spin—but you keep the multiplier from your original drop.
  • Multiplier Ball Chance: Random chance to get 2x or 4x “power balls” that multiply your result.

Once these are active, the board lights up with energy. Portals flicker, bonus balls fly across, and that old-school plinko randomness suddenly feels supercharged.

The buy features are a genius addition from BGaming!

It’s fun, chaotic, and surprisingly strategic.

You can also drop 1 to 100 balls simultaneously, which is wild to watch in full-speed turbo mode. Definitely not your grandma’s plinko.

Leaderboard & Statistics

BGaming has kept things clean and functional on the stats side. You’ve got the betting history column showing past bets, results, and win/loss outcomes. It updates in real-time and offers a solid performance overview.

There isn’t a full-featured leaderboard like in some multiplayer-focused games (no daily/monthly prize races here), but considering how solo-focused Plinko 2 is, this isn’t a major issue.

That said, the inclusion of advanced stats or even community achievements would’ve been a nice touch.

Mobile Gambling Experience

The game perfectly translates to mobile screens.

This is where BGaming really nails the cross-platform experience.

Performance on mobile is flawless, no frame drops, no weird touch bugs, and no awkward layout clipping, even when enabling all three buy features and turbo mode.

We tested across multiple devices and connection types. Loading was instant, animations ran smoothly, and the controls were neatly spaced, even for the 100-ball drop. The buy features menu remains easily accessible, and we didn’t once find ourselves hunting for an Auto or Turbo toggle.

Gameplay Options

Manual Mode

The manual experience is where Plinko 2 shines brightest. You’ve got full control: select your bet, risk (Low, Medium, High), and number of rows (8–16). Drop a single ball or 100 at once, it’s up to you.

Betting starts at $0.10, capping out at $25, which hits a sweet spot for most casual to mid-stakes players. And with a max multiplier of 10,000x and max win of $250,000, the potential upside is mouthwatering.

Only real complaint? There’s no “Repeat Bet” button, and your last settings aren’t saved between sessions. Also, during very high-traffic periods, we noticed a brief delay between bet confirmation and drop.

Auto Mode

Now, this is where Plinko 2 drops the ball, pun intended.

You can set the number of rounds, but that’s it. No advanced options like changing the bet amount after losses or wins, no cashout targets, no balance stop limits. For a game that feels so dynamic in manual mode, the Auto mode is shockingly basic.

There’s no hybrid strategy support either. You can’t pre-set feature toggles across rounds or combine different ball drop amounts. You set it, you forget it—and that’s not a good thing for strategy-minded players.

Compare this to BetFury or BC.Game’s automation systems, and Plinko 2 clearly lags behind in this one area.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

  • Exciting, unique buy features (Multiplier Balls, Respins, etc.)
  • High RTP (99%)
  • Up to 100 balls dropped at once
  • Excellent desktop and mobile UX
  • Engaging visual effects and portal animations
  • Huge potential max multiplier (10,000x)

❌ Cons:

  • Auto mode is underwhelming with zero strategy options
  • No real-time fairness verification
  • Lack of betting session memory or “repeat” function
  • No community leaderboards or social incentives

Final Thoughts

After dozens of test sessions, it’s safe to say: Plinko 2 is BGaming’s best plinko game yet, and maybe the most exciting one we’ve played in recent years.

It takes everything that made classic plinko fun and layers on creative risk/reward mechanics that actually enhance gameplay without making it too gimmicky.

Sure, it’s not perfect. The fairness model is solid but not transparent in the way provably fair games are. And the Auto mode leaves a lot to be desired if you’re into scripting or progressive betting strategies.

But if you’re here for fun, for big multiplier dreams, and for a visual spectacle that actually adds to the core gameplay, Plinko 2 delivers.
