Rocket Dice XY is BGaming’s space-themed spin on the classic two-dice game, and it plays quite differently from the slider-based crypto dice that dominate this category.
Released in March 2022, it is provably fair with certified RNG, runs at a strong 99 percent RTP, and adds a fun Risk double-up feature on top of the traditional roll.
Instead of a 0 to 100 slider, you are betting on the summed total of two dice. Let’s see how that changes things.

Gameplay experience and features

The foundation here is the oldest dice principle there is. You place a bet, choose a number from 2 to 12, and predict whether the total of two rolled dice will land Over or Under your chosen number.
The two dice are rolled, their pips are summed, and the result is settled instantly.
This is the key difference from Dice by Stake Originals or Dice by BC Originals. Those games give you a continuous slider and a freely adjustable win chance.
Rocket Dice XY instead uses discrete targets from 2 to 12, so your win chance is set by which number you pick rather than by a slider, and payouts come from a fixed paytable shown in the game rules rather than a live RTP-over-chance formula.
The trade-off is control. Slider dice let you fine-tune volatility to any level you like. Rocket Dice XY keeps things simpler and more casual, which suits players who prefer classic dice logic over precise risk-shaping.
A full 99% RTP
On RTP, BGaming does well. Rocket Dice XY runs at 99 percent, matching the best in the category.
For comparison:
- Dice by Spribe sits at 97 percent.
- Dice Twice by Turbo Games runs 97.5 percent with a x32.5 cap.
- Lightning Dice by Evolution is a live game around 96 percent.
- Dice by Stake Originals and Thrill all also hit 99 percent, with BC just behind at 98 percent.
The standout feature is the Risk mode. After every winning roll, you can take your winnings with the Take button, or gamble them: you pick 3 of 6 numbers, and a 50/50 draw either doubles your prize or wipes it.
It adds a real layer of tension that pure slider dice do not have.
The game is high variance, with a published maximum win of 35.3x your bet and a maximum payout of $3,530.
The paytable plus repeated Risk doubles are where those big results come from, though the 35.3x ceiling is modest next to the sky-high multipliers on some rival dice titles.
There is also a record table that logs your results to help you spot patterns, and the whole thing is provably fair with certified RNG. BGaming is MGA-licensed, which adds regulatory reassurance.
Desktop version

On desktop, Rocket Dice XY looks sharp and characterful. The rocket-and-space theme gives it more personality than the sterile minimalism of Stake, with pleasing table colors and a clean two-dice presentation.
Everything sits where you expect. The bet amount, the number selector, and the Over/Under toggle are clearly laid out, and the record table keeps your history visible. Inputs are immediate and rolls resolve without delay.
One practical limitation stands out for serious players: the bet range runs only from $0.10 up to $10, and the maximum win tops out at 35.3x for a $3,530 payout. That combination makes it a casual-friendly game rather than a high-roller option, and it is well below the currency-scaled limits on Stake or BC.
One more thing: the game has limited availability across operators, so it can be harder to find than the platform-exclusive originals or widely distributed Spribe and Turbo titles.
Leaderboard and statistics
Rocket Dice XY does not include the public Big Win and Lucky Win leaderboards that make Stake and BC feel so competitive. There is no live community feed of huge hits here.
What you get instead is the in-game record table, which tracks your recent rolls and outcomes so you can follow your own session and look for streaks.
BGaming’s broader Players Hub also offers real-time RTP insights across the studio’s games, which is a nice ecosystem touch, but it is not a per-game public leaderboard.
For solo tracking it is fine. For community-driven excitement, the top originals still lead.
Mobile version
Rocket Dice XY is fully optimized for mobile, and it shows. The game loads quickly and runs smoothly on both smartphones and tablets, with the two-dice animation and Risk screen scaling cleanly to smaller displays.

A free demo is available, and it carries over to mobile, so you can learn the flow and try the Risk feature without spending anything.
Touch targets are comfortable, and I had no trouble with the Over/Under toggle or the Take button during faster sessions.
It is a polished, casual mobile dice game that never feels cramped.
Gameplay options
Manual mode
Manual play is simple and quick. You set your bet, pick your number from 2 to 12, choose Over or Under, and roll. After a win you decide whether to bank it with the Take button or push your luck in Risk mode.

Because rounds resolve instantly, sessions move at a good pace.
There is no instant bet toggle like Stake’s, but the flow is fast enough that it does not hurt.
Auto mode
Autoplay is straightforward. You can set a fixed number of automatic rolls or choose endless play, and a Stop button ends the run whenever you like.

It covers the basics for hands-free play and simple strategies like Martingale or other dice strategies, but it is lighter than the conditional automation on Stake and BC.
There are no built-in stop-on-profit or stop-on-loss thresholds, so you manage those manually with the Stop button.

Is Rocket Dice worth playing?
This is not the game for high rollers or for players who want to sculpt their own volatility with a slider, and the modest max win keeps a hard ceiling on any single session. We didn’t stick around for too long is all I’m saying.
