4/5
Bodog Welcome Bonus
Bodog kicks things off with a decent welcome bonus: a 100% match up to $600 plus 50 free spins.
The standard casino bonus gets you up to $600 in extra play money, which is great for testing the waters of their games. Those 50 free spins on Golden Buffalo can add some extra wins if luck is on your side.
Bodog Crypto Welcome Bonus
If you’re into crypto, Bodog’s 150% crypto bonus of up to $900 and 100 free spins is the real draw. That’s a solid offer, but let’s put it in perspective—Betpanda goes bigger with a 1 BTC bonus as a starter.
If you deposit with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other digital currencies, you get a 150% match.
More bonus money for crypto users. If you’re in doubt, the only way to go is crypto!
How to Claim the Bodog Casino Bonus
It’s a simple process, no hoops to jump through:
- Sign up at Bodog.
- Select the Casino Welcome Bonus from the available options.
- Make your first deposit (minimum $10).
- Enjoy up to $600 extra plus 50 free spins!
If you’re opting for the crypto offer, the process is just as easy:
- Hit ‘Deposit Now’.
- Select the crypto bonus from the dropdown.
- Deposit your preferred amount.
- Enjoy more bonus cash and extra spins!
If you’re serious about getting the best value, the crypto bonus is hands-down the better choice. It gives you 150% instead of 100%, and the free spins increase from 50 to 100.
The crypto bonus has a 25x casino or 5x sports rollover.
Unlike some casinos that rush you, Bodog gives you 180 days to meet the wagering requirements. That’s a big plus, as some platforms demand completion in a week or two.
Bodog VIP Program
Bodog also runs a VIP program—bVIP—that gives loyal players additional perks. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it does offer some decent benefits:
- Personalized bonuses & gifts.
- 24/7 priority customer support.
- Higher transaction limits & faster cashouts.
- Birthday bonuses & weekly rewards.
- Exclusive promotions for VIP members.
Are the Bodog Bitcoin Bonuses Worth it?
We think so, especially for casual players not willing to invest a lot of their own cash at first.
Not only are the wagering requirements are particularly friendly and relatively easy to fulfil, but they’re also attached to a 150% casino welcome offer, which is more than your run-of-the-mill matched deposit bonus.
There is something you should note: although you have to deposit with Bitcoin to redeem the bonus, you can’t play with the currency. This is because all funds are immediately converted to fiat once you deposit, including your bonus funds.
This is obviously a drawback if you’re looking for a real Bitcoin casino, although there is one major advantage to it: your bonus’ worth is not subject to price fluctuations.
Additionally, high rollers may struggle to find value here. Other casinos, like Fortunejack and BitStarz, have much more generous welcome promotions.
Even a casino without a welcome bonus, like Stake, can offer you more value with constant high-stakes promotions in a myriad of different cryptocurrencies.
Summary
pros
-
+Great value (150% casino bonus)
-
+Low wagering on bonuses
-
+VIP program
cons
-
-Low maximum welcome bonus
-
-Bonus paid out in fiat
Look & Feel
Mainstream appeal, with interesting crypto features
5/5
Bodog sticks to a tried-and-true design. The dark background, red accents, and bold typography give it a serious, high-stakes vibe. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and doesn’t overwhelm with clutter. But if you’re after a modern, visually dynamic interface, you won’t find it here.
Bodog feels like a veteran that refuses to change—sturdy, reliable, but undeniably old-school.
While experienced players might appreciate its no-frills setup, newer users could find it uninspiring. Competitors like FortuneJack and Stake push the boundaries with interactive UI elements and immersive design. In contrast, Bodog keeps things basic—functional but not exactly exciting.
Navigation
Bodog keeps things tidy. The top menu lets you quickly jump between Sports, Casino, Poker, and Live Dealer sections.
The navigation is intuitive—you won’t be hunting for games or promotions. There’s also a dropdown menu for quick access to promotions, FAQs, and account settings.
However, the search function is basic, and filtering options aren’t as detailed as they should be.
Bodog on Mobile
Bodog’s mobile experience is a mixed bag. The site loads fast, which is a plus, but it’s not the most responsive layout.
Elements don’t always adjust smoothly, and navigation can feel clunky, especially when browsing through game categories.
Compared to Betpanda or BC.Game, where mobile play feels seamless, Bodog still has some catching up to do.
That said, the mobile version keeps all the essential features intact. You can play games, deposit funds, and claim bonuses without much hassle.
But if you prefer a fully optimized mobile casino with smooth transitions and touch-friendly design, Bodog might not be your top pick.
How to Sign Up at Bodog
Registering at Bodog is simple, but they require a phone number for verification—something I’m not a fan of. If you’re okay with that, here’s how to sign up:
- Click ‘Join’ on the top-right corner of the homepage.
- Fill in your personal details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, and postal code).
- Set up a password and accept the terms.
- Verify your phone number via SMS.
- Log in and start playing.
There’s no option to sign up using Google or crypto wallets, which some modern casinos offer. Still, the process is quick, and you can start playing immediately after verifying your details.
Summary
pros
-
+Easy navigation
-
+Detailed Bitcoin guide
-
+Simple but pleasing look
cons
-
-The design looks dated
-
-No app available
Game Selection
Varied mainstream casino missing out on a few crypto games
4/5
Bodog is a well-rounded Bitcoin casino with a decent selection of gambling options, from traditional casino games to sports bets and even a downloadable poker client.
It is, however, a more traditional online casino that focuses on mainstream titles.
Bodog’s offering includes:
- Slots
Live Casino - Dice
- Blackjack
- Video Poker
Real Poker
Jackpots - Baccarat
- Crash
- Plinko
The casino is particularly generous in slot machines, with over 1,500 different games on offer from a wide variety of reputable providers.
There is also a standard live casino section, where you can find a standard selection of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat games. Other live casino games are conspicuously missing, including Evolution’s live game shows and dice.
Bodog Slots
If you’re a slot fan, you’ll find 1,300+ slots covering various themes, volatility levels, and payout structures. However, there’s a glaring omission—no Pragmatic Play or NetEnt slots. That means no Sweet Bonanza, The Dog House, or Starburst, which is a bit of a letdown.
Still, you get a mix of exclusives, jackpots, and classic reels. There’s no demo mode, so you’ll have to play for real money from the start.
Bodog’s game library is decent, but if you’re looking for a provider-packed casino with high-end variety, you might feel like something’s missing.
On the plus side, the filtering system is decent, but I’d love to see an RTP filter to make it easier to sort high-paying games.
Bodog Live Casino
Bodog’s live casino features 40 live dealer tables, offering blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and a handful of game shows.
Minimum bets start at $1, making it accessible, but the real draw is for high rollers—you can wager up to $50,000 per round.
That’s a step above most competitors, even BoxBet, which leads in sheer variety with 1,000+ live games but doesn’t match Bodog’s upper betting limits.
Not many casinos let you wager $50K per round—if you’re looking for high-stakes action, Bodog has you covered.
Bodog Poker
Let’s say it straight away: if you’re looking for an online casino accepting Bitcoin payments where you can play real poker against other human beings, then Bodog is by far your best choice.
The casino offers a downloadable poker client where all the action takes place.
There are several playing options, including:
- Regular Sit and Gos
- Cash Games
- Scheduled Tournaments
- Knockout Tournaments
Additionally, Bodog offers a decent selection of poker promotions, including a dedicated Bitcoin bonus available to new poker players!
Summary
pros
-
+1300+ slot machines
-
+Real (live) poker
-
+$50K tables
-
+Has provably fair games
cons
-
-Lacks big name providers like Pragmatic Play and Evolution
-
-Only 40 live casino games
Licensing & Safety
Old and experienced brand that branched out to cryptos
4/5
Bodog is a well-established brand with 25+ years of experience ..
The brand was also one of the earliest (mainstream) movers when it came to embracing cryptocurrencies. It has offered Bitcoin payments for several years now, and it does its best to cater to a crypto-friendly audience.
Additionally, it offers safety features, including a PIN for additional safety (on top of your regular password-protected login) when performing transactions.
But is Bodog legit? Let’s find out.
Is Bodog Legit?
Bodog.eu—the Bodog brand that operates in North America and accepts Bitcoin payments—is licensed by the government of Antigua and Barbuda.
The brand also operates in other markets under the name bodog.com, with a license from the government of Curaçao.
We were disappointed, however, that the brand does not focus on responsible gaming. Although you can set account limits and auto-exclusion, you must contact customer support, which is a cumbersome and unnecessary extra step, especially if you need help.
Does Bodog Require KYC?
While Bodog does not block VPN access, they state in their terms and conditions that using a VPN to mask your identity is not allowed.
Therefore, we cannot recommend you use a VPN, although we understand your need to protect your privacy.
What’s more, Bodog requires some personal information upon registration, including providing an accurate mobile number to access certain features. As usual, we advise you to provide accurate data, or the casino may have cause to withhold your funds.
Summary
pros
-
+25+ years' experience
-
+PIN number
cons
-
-Mobile verification required
-
-Lacking in responsible gambling features
-
-KYC required
Payment Options
Simple payments that are suitable to beginners
3/5
Bodog was a fiat-only, mainstream casino first that quickly embraced cryptocurrencies.
Currently, it works as a hybrid of both, accepting payments on both your local currency and a small but suitable selection of cryptos, including:
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Litecoin
- Bitcoin Cash
- Bitcoin SV
- Tether
As stated in the bonus section, however, all deposits are immediately converted into fiat. This means that, while you can deposit and withdraw in BTC, you will play and wager bonuses in your local currency.
Different fiat currencies may be available to you, depending on your country. Canadian users, for instance, will play in CAD by default.
Deposit & Withdrawal Limits
Cryptocurrency | Min. Deposit | Min. Withdrawal | Max. Withdrawal (every three days) |
---|---|---|---|
Bitcoin | $10 | $10 | $9,500 |
Bitcoin Cash | $10 | $10 | $9,500 |
Bitcoin SV | $10 | $10 | $9,500 |
Litecoin | $10 | $10 | $9,500 |
Tether | $5 | $60 | $9,500 |
Ethereum | $50 | $60 | $9,500 |
Bodog’s crypto limits are decent but fall short compared to no-limit crypto casinos like Cloudbet. The maximum withdrawal is $9,500 every three days, which should be fine for casual players, but high rollers might find it restrictive.
The minimum deposit starts at $5 for Tether, while Ethereum requires at least $50, which is steeper than most competitors.
Overall, it’s not bad, but for more flexible withdrawals, there are better options out there.
Summary
pros
-
+Decent selection of cryptos
-
+Fiat currencies also available
-
+Fast processing times
cons
-
-60 USDT minimum withdrawal
-
-Low withdrawal limits
Customer Support
Detailed Bitcoin guides and good customer support
4/5
Bodog has a dedicated live chat team, which is available 24/7.
The Bodog.eu website is only available in English, true for all its customer support methods.
You can also email the customer support team if you prefer that approach, although live chat is, in our experience, faster and more approachable. The full range of contact options include:
- Live chat
- Telephone
- Fax
I was mildly impressed with the vast range of options, which is unusual nowadays.
Additionally, Bodog offers a comprehensive Bitcoin guide for new users, as well as on other topics. For the most part, you can rely on Bodog’s help centre to answer your questions (although if you prefer to contact the support team instantly, you can).
During our interactions with the Bodog customer support team, we didn’t have any experiences that stood out as negative. For the most part, the team was polite and helpful, and all our questions were addressed promptly. However, we wouldn’t rate them as particularly thorough, either.
