Stake has it all—hundreds of odds on all the best sports, a fresh look, exclusive games, a top-notch VIP program... And, let's not forget the $100,000 daily race or the $75,000 weekly raffle. Add in the fact that Stake has no maximum deposit or withdrawal limits, and it's easy to see why the platform is so popular. My in-depth review covers all the good and the not-so-good details about this renowned casino.

Bonuses

Get social and reap the benefits

4/5

At the moment, Stake Casino has a $100,000 daily race along with a $75,000 weekly giveaway and a range of sports betting promos. The casino also offers one of the best VIP programs to give back to their loyal players, particularly via monthly bonuses.

Now that you’ve got an idea of what’s to come, I’ll dive right into the details, starting with:

$100,000 Daily Races

Stake Daily race promo image

Stake Casino doesn’t have a welcome bonus, but it makes up for it with an exciting new way to win big. Every day, you can compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool—just place a bet on any sports or casino game on Stake and you’re automatically in!

Keep an eye on the Daily Race Leaderboard (prominently displayed on the sports and casino pages) to track your progress and see where you stand in the competition. The top 5,000 racers at the end of each day win a share of the money based on their leaderboard position.

When I tested Stake, I couldn’t help but think of BC.Game’s Lucky Wheel (I talk about it in detail in my BC Game review). It’s a similar principle. With the race, you get a daily chance to win big, instead of a single Stake sign-up bonus.

At the same time, this is a competition, and it’s mostly high rollers who will benefit from the promotion. So, while I do appreciate it, I’d like to see the welcome bonus make a return.

But worry not, there is much more up Stake’s sleeve:

$75,000 Weekly Raffle

Right now, this is Stake’s second-most-popular promotion—and it’s open to all players, no matter what game they choose. Here’s how it works:

  1. Open an account: the giveaway is available to all Stake players
  2. Play: for every $1,000 you wager at the casino or sportsbook, you win a raffle ticket
  3. Watch: follow the live draw on stream every Saturday at 2:00 pm GMT
  4. Win: The prize is split between fifteen players. If you’re one of the lucky winners, you go home with a $5,000 prize with no wagering requirements!

Want to boost your winnings? My advice is to play more, and you’ll get more tickets.

VIP Program

Without a doubt, Stake has the best VIP program in the crypto casino world. My team even ranked the loyalty program first for Bitcoin casinos with VIP clubs.

As a Stake premium member, you will get regular (and pretty juicy) level-up bonuses, as well as reloads, monthly, and weekly extra money. At the higher levels, you can even get a daily reload bonus, too.

Stake has a pretty great VIP ranking system.

And, for top-tier members, the sky is (literally) the limit. The casino will tailor the offers and perks to you—if there’s anything missing, all you have to do is tell them. So, while they don’t advertise high roller trips and parties like other casinos do, I have it on good authority that Stake knows how to treat their VIPs right.

And, for the best news:

None of the offers come with strings attached—all of the bonuses are 100% wager-free and instantly available for withdrawal!

Stake Monthly Bonus

I’ve already addressed this in the VIP section, but Stake’s monthly bonuses deserve a little more airtime—especially because many players struggle to grasp how they work.

Quite simply:

This bonus takes the form of a “reload,” and the amount you receive depends on your VIP level and how much you play.

According to Stake:

Monthly bonuses are calculated based on your VIP level and recent wager. Players who are very active on Stake are more likely to receive bigger bonuses, of course. If you are an active Gold player, you will receive a higher bonus than a non VIP player that is not active on the site.

You’ll receive word on your monthly bonus via email, so make sure you sign up using your primary address (or at least one you check regularly)!

Other Available Bonuses

recent stake promotions

Stake is well-known for coming up with new promotions to keep players engaged (it’s an excellent excuse for me to keep re-testing the casino; don’t tell upper management).

Here are some of the current promos you’ll find on Stake:

  • Conquer the Casino: Share in $50,000 every single week by playing the casino’s new games. Hold the first position on the Lucky Wins or Big Wins leaderboards after one week on any qualifying game to score yourself big prizes!
  • Stake Christmas Race: Stake organizes a special $10M Christmas promotion—leaderboard style, where the top 25,000 players score big.
  • Stake vs Eddie: Go head to head against Eddie to win some huge prizes (Eddie is just a guy, you can do it!) Every week, players can try to beat Eddie’s multiplier to share in a $30,000 prize pool.
  • The Level Up: Share in $20,000 by beating the target multipliers on this week’s 5 games.
  • Multiplier Race: Hit the biggest multiplier on the four games, and you could win the top prize in this weekly promotion of $10,000
  • Casino Challenges: This is the wild card of all promos. Every week, you’ll find new challenges inside the casino. So, keep playing, keep trying new things, and you’ll get the chance to win some unique prizes!
  • Chaos Collector: Win your share of the $10,000 bounty by earning as many 100x multipliers as you can on the selected games each week.
  • Pragmatic Drops & Wins: Whenever you indulge in Pragmatic’s range of slots and live games on Stake, you get a chance for this promo! Every month, they award over $2,000,000 in random drops to Pragmatic players!
  • Pragmatic Drops & Wins Mega Roulette Madness: If you like Mega Roulette, you can get a nice share out of the $1,000,000 prize pool paid each quarter.
  • Stake Telegram Challenges: Simply join Stake’s Telegram channel and bet on fun, daily games.

If you take part in the Stake gambling Community, you’ll be entitled to even more benefits. All you have to do is have an active presence on Stake Casino’s chat and forum.

I also recommend following their Twitter to learn about fun promos. Stake regularly gives players a chance to win at random—just by engaging! Here’s a recent example:

Look & Feel

A breath of fresh air

5/5

Modern. Crisp. Welcoming. Those were my initial thoughts when I visited Stake the very first time.

Stake Casino might have a clean and shamelessly modern look, yet it was designed to make you feel right at home.

It’s clear from the beginning that this website places a lot of emphasis on its social experience. In other words, you’re more than just another unidentified player at an online casino.

A couple of features stand out for how much the site made me feel like an active part of the community:

  • The player’s chat, which is available on the right-hand side of the screen (only after you’ve logged in).
  • The winner’s feed, which you can find at the bottom of the page.
  • The excellent mobile optimization. There’s even a Stake Telegram casino!

This marriage of modernity and welcoming is a refreshing vibe that I appreciated from the get-go.

If you’re worried about anonymity on the chat and winner’s feed, you’re not alone. Stake understands that players might not want their activity exposed on the website.

If you ask me, I liked seeing my wins displayed on the board. But some players value anonymity more than pride.

Stake Sign Up

No one wants to spend more than a few minutes signing up at a casino. That won’t be a problem at Stake. It’s actually one of the fastest sign-up Bitcoin casinos out there, requiring only 60 seconds of your time to register (yes, I timed it).

As you can see, aside from being very fast, the process is also really simple. You can use the above video as a Stake sign-up guide if you’re still unsure.

Game Selection

Know the RTP at first glance

5/5

If I had to sum up Stake Casino’s game selection in one word, I’d call it “diverse”.

The casino offers well over 3,000 games, covering all the most popular categories. These include:

  • Dice
  • Keno
  • Mines
  • Plinko
  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Slots
  • Crash
  • Sportsbook
  • Esports

Very few Bitcoin brands manage to offer both original, low house-edge games and mainstream casino providers, as well as a decent sportsbook with top-notch odds. More on that below.

What Are the Best Games on Stake? Team Test Results

Whenever I test a big product like Stake, I look to my team for help. I gather around a bunch of colleagues, we create anonymous accounts, and we play through the casino. Their input gives me a better understanding of the overall user experience.

After all, every gambler has their preferences—and their icks, too.

Since Stake is so huge, I had to sort through a bunch of different opinions on the top games. I can’t address them all, but I will share the crowd-pleasers.

Big Bass Boom & Net Gains: Our Top Slots

Apart from the enhanced RTP, you can also buy free spins.

Big Bass Boom is part of the well-known “Big Bass” series, which I’ve always enjoyed for its fishing theme. In this version, you’re reeling in more than just fish—the slot features Enhanced RTP (98%), which really adds value.

The max win is a solid 5,000x your bet, which offers decent payout potential. While it’s not as massive as the 21,100x you can find in Sweet Bonanza, it’s still impressive!

During my test, it was the third most-played slot on the platform, behind Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Sugar Rush 1000. I found the payouts to be sporadic, but when they hit, they can be pretty rewarding.

Looking for even better payouts? Net Gains may be the slot for you. The 5-reel, 4-row matrix gives you over 4,000 ways to win, including potentially huge multipliers. Check out this result Stake shared in early 2023—the player turned $0.10 into $1,182!

Crash & Plinko: Our Forever Favorites

Stake Plinko
Let the nostalgia trip begin with Stake’s Plinko game!

It’s no secret we’re all about provable fairness at Casinos Blockchain. It’s one of the main perks of crypto gambling after all. And, Stake’s original Crash and Plinko games offer just that.

Both games come with smooth gameplay, a straightforward interface, and they take almost no time to get the hang of.

More importantly (and this is the nerd in me speaking), it was very easy to verify their fairness. We ran a few tests ourselves, double-checking the randomness of each outcome, and the results were spotless.

Game Shows, Game Shows, Game Shooows!

Stake Casino Game Live Shows

Finally, my personal favorites. Game shows are one of the most exciting casino games out there. For me, they feel like those classic TV shows, but with a twist.

Stake has 28 game shows right now, and they are all a blast. Deal or No Deal tended to be the universal favorite in our team, but I’m also partial to Crazy Time and Monopoly.

These games are great for the social aspect, too. Even though you’re playing at an online casino, it still feels like you get “the real deal”.

Stake Original Games

Stake Original Games
Stake offers 18 different original games, including crowd-pleasers like Crash and Plinko!

Does Stake have its own selection of in-house-produced games? It sure does and the variety is excellent:

You’ll find casino classics like slot machines, roulette, and blackjack, as well as lesser-known games such as dice and keno. If you are looking to get to know new casino games, then Limbo, mines, or Plinko are also on the table.

As the name indicates, none of these games are created by external providers; they’re all developed by Stake. They might not be your favorite slot by NetEnt, but they offer something else: transparency and house edge:

  • Transparency:
All 18 games are provably fair, which means you can verify the outcome of every single spin yourself. The provably fair algorithm runs on the blockchain and Stake actually has no control over the conditions—they can’t increase or decrease the house edge, much less manipulate the outcome of the game. In fact, Stake’s original games are actually based on provably fair algorithms that Stake doesn’t own, but rather bought from independent blockchain developers. Once again, this removes any possibility for them to cheat or rig the games.
  • Low House Edge:
Third-party casino games can be listed for free, but they often charge hefty percentages on GGR (gross gaming revenue). On the other hand, big-time casinos like Stake.com can afford to invest up to $100k to develop a game, apply a small 1% house edge, and still turn a nice profit. It’s a win-win for both players and Stake.

Now that I’ve covered the main perks of Stake originals, let’s talk about one of the major Stake originals (and a favorite in our team):

Stake Crash

Stake Crash
I love Stake’s simple, yet exciting Crash game design!

Crash is a crypto casino game, inspired by the fluctuations of coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The aim of the game is to guess when the multiplier will crash, and to cash out before it does!

Crash is fast-paced and thrilling, and can be extremely rewarding if you manage to withdraw at the right time. Even better, the game is super fast to learn so you can start having fun right away.

What I love most about Stake’s take on Crash is that it’s provably fair.

With provably fair games, you can be sure the casino can’t rig the game against you, as all the data is transparent and available for everyone to see. This is a huge plus for us since gives gamblers complete peace of mind when playing.

So, if you’re a Crash enthusiast, like 90% of my team, look no further than Stake!

Stake Plinko

Stake Plinko
Let the nostalgia trip begin with Stake’s Plinko game!

Plinko is another crypto casino favorite, inspired by old-school arcade games.

Bettors can drop a coin down a Plinko-style board, with each section corresponding to a different multiplier. Land on a multiplier that increases your bet, and you have yourself a win!

Plinko is a popular game because it is simple to understand and easy to play. The game is also popular because it offers a high potential return, considering the low house edge.

Just like Crash, Stake’s Plinko is provably fair. This, once again, means that the casino cannot rig the game in their favor, and you can enjoy your wins without worrying about safety.

Slot Games And More

Choose from 2,700+ Stake Casino slots.

Of course, if you do want to play some tried and true casino games—say, from providers like Yggdrasil, Big Time Gaming, or Push Gaming—you can also find them at Stake. A few established game studios (such as Microgaming) are missing, and I only noticed this because I’m a huge Microgaming fan.

Even so, there are so many other providers to choose from, it’s hardly a loss.

Before you open any game, you can see the house edge—which I have to say is quite low compared to other casinos. This way, you can easily play the game with the most significant benefit for the player.

If you want to see what’s hot and what’s not, you can also check out the real-time wins and losses and pick the trendiest games.

Sports Bets at Stake

Stake Sports Betting

Stake is more than just a Bitcoin casino: it also provides a stellar sports betting section.

While the brand’s bookie used to be a bit rough around the edges (like most crypto sports betting platforms), it has now developed into a fully-fledged product that can compete with mainstream sportsbooks, especially in more niche areas like esports and MMA.

Expect to find your traditional selection of in-play and pre-match fixtures on all the top sports, including:

  • American Football
  • Association Football (Soccer)
  • Basketball
  • Table tennis
  • Ice Hockey
  • Formula 1

Has the idea of Formula 1 betting with Bitcoin got you excited? If so, you’ll be happy to know that Stake recently partnered with F1 team Alfa Romeo for the 2024 season, and the team is now officially called Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. We’re on the lookout for special odds and even more ways to engage with the sport.

Stake Casino x Alfa Romeo

Stake also offers competitive odds in up-and-coming competitions like eSports and fighting sports. Popular MMA fighter Israel Adesanya is a brand ambassador, and Stake is also an official betting partner of the UFC and sponsors other prominent fighters.

If you’re less into brawling “in the flesh”, and more into PC-based bouts, then Stake has got you covered, with a vast selection of eSports markets with decent odds, from CS:GO to League of Legends.

Stake also gets bonus points for the Bet Builder feature it introduced for the World Cup 2022 events.

With the Bet Builder, you can accumulate bets on the same event and create slips with up to ten different wagers. It’s very convenient and I found it to work smoothly for a range of soccer events and beyond.

As things stand, Stake is my number one recommendation for online betting with cryptocurrencies, above more sports-focused products like Cloudbet.

Stake x Drake

StakexDrake Screenshot
Stake recently partnered up with hip-hop legend Drake.

I saved the best for last: Stake even collaborated with Drake!

Yup, Hotline Bling Drake. God’s Plan Drake.

Now, they’re running a promotion where you can bet alongside @champagnepapi himself. To win, send over your contacts—and don’t forget to enjoy some of Drake’s favorite activities on Stake—roulette and NBA betting.

And he’s paying it forward, too. Here’s how he shared some of his fortune with a fan:

Licensing & Safety

Stake proves it with a seal

5/5

Boasting a well-established presence in the cryptocurrency domain, coupled with a valid gambling license and an impressive array of provably fair games, Stake Casino stands out as a secure and reputable betting platform.

Stake Casino License

The main Stake website is licensed by the Government of Curaçao—gaming license 8048/JAZ issued to Antillephone. This is the standard licensing for a crypto casino and it’s a positive sign for Stake’s legitimacy. But, it’s not the only seal of approval Stake holds:

  • In Mexico, Stake casino is locally authorized through the official brief NO.DGJS/DCRCA/2501/202.
  • The casino also has a Crypto Gambling Foundation seal, a seal of approval from an impartial organization that upholds the highest standard of provably fair gambling.

All this goes to show that Stake practices an excellent standard of Bitcoin casino security.

Finally, Stake’s size also vouches for its legitimacy. A billion-dollar company that handles 5% of all Bitcoin transactions in the world and routinely partners with huge sports and entertainment personalities, Stake Casino has to be clean—or else the issue will be discovered quickly and very publicly.

Who owns Stake? Crypto buffs Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani launched the casino back in 2017.

Stake Casino Vault

Stake Casino Vault

Recently, this crypto casino took security a step further by introducing the all-new Stake Vault. It’s a safe place to store your funds without having to worry about blockchain delays or fees associated with wallet transactions. Instead, the Vault itself acts like a new kind of wallet.

Thanks to 2FA and other customizable safety measures, your stored crypto is kept secure. Here’s how to access Stake Casino Vault:

  • Log into/register at Stake.com
  • Head over to the main user menu
  • Select Account > Vault
  • Access your Vault and choose your desired security features
  • Use your existing wallet to deposit crypto into your Vault

That’s all there is to it! Say goodbye to network delays and gas fees when playing at Stake—and enjoy top-tier security in the process.

I tried out the vault with my funds, and I wasn’t disappointed. I love to see casinos serving up these sorts of features, and it seems the idea is catching! BC.Game recently added a vault of its own.

Where is Stake Gambling Legal?

Stake casino is legal in Canada, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Brazil, and many other countries around the world. In these Stake gambling countries, you are completely free to place both casino and sports bets with cryptocurrency—and Stake even offers some unique regional perks. The Canadian Stake advantages are a great example.

The government of Curaçao licenses Stake, which affects where Stake casino is legal. Due to this license, Stake is not able to operate in all countries. Some of the Stake restricted countries include:

🚫 United Kingdom
🚫 Syria
🚫 France
🚫 Netherlands
🚫 Portugal
🚫 Serbia
🚫 Slovakia
🚫 Korea

If you’re looking to play, I advise you to stick to the Stake.com available countries, rather than risking it by playing from a restricted zone.

Stake UK: Different, But Still Solid

Under the Curaçao license, you can’t play regular Stake in the UK. But there is some good news:

In 2021, Stake secured a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) license.

It launched a Britain-only site soon after, featuring a casino and sports betting section. Unfortunately, the site is quite different from the original Stake.

The major change?

Not only that, but they’ve also reduced the game offer and even changed RTP on some games. For example, the Book of Dead slot runs on 91% RTP, when the default is 96.2%!

Finally, after the regulation, Stake can no longer offer all game options it did before—auto play is, notably, gone.

Plenty of downsides, right?

Well, it’s the only way Stake can operate in the UK legally. So, while we’re not thrilled about the downgrade, the site is still one of the best for British gamblers.

Are VPNs Allowed at Stake?

Short answer: yes, but it depends on why you’re using them.

Using a VPN in and of itself is not illegal. However, if you use a VPN to avoid regulations, or to engage in criminal or malicious activity, then you may be breaking the law.

How does this apply to Stake Casino?

Well, Stake holds a Curaçao casino license.

And yes, Stake KYC is a thing, but I’ll get to that in a second.

If you’re using a VPN for other purposes, such as to protect your privacy, then there’s no reason why you can’t do it at Stake. Luckily for you, I tested a bunch of options to give you a comprehensive list of the best VPNs to use at BTC casinos like Stake.

Does Stake Require KYC?

Yes, Stake KYC is very much a thing! You’ll need to reveal personal details like your name and date of birth, and eventually submit more detailed documents if you bet and withdraw large sums.

I recently wrote a Stake KYC guide that will walk you through the process.

Many players see the enforcement of KYC as a negative. But I know well that in order to be fully compliant with the Curaçao license, this is a necessary precaution for the casino.

I have reviewed several anonymous casinos, though, if you’re determined to fly under the radar.

Does Stake Care About Responsible Gambling?

Whenever I review a casino, I always go and check its responsible gambling policies. I think it’s a good way to see how much the platform really cares about its players.

And, I wasn’t disappointed.

Stake is one of the few casinos that doesn’t hide its responsible gambling section in the footer. Instead, you’ll find it in the main side menu on the left side of the screen.

Click on it and you’ll find an amazing toolkit to use if you “need a break from Stake”, as they so eloquently put it.

responsible gambling toolkit stake
Options aplenty!

To take things further, I saw a pop-up the other day actually encouraging me to set gambling limits. I’ve never seen that before, and I have to take my hat off to Stake for this one.

Payment Options

Nothing is for free

5/5

Stake supports 20 cryptocurrencies, including favorites like:

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Litecoin
  • Ripple
  • Tron
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Dogecoin
  • EOS

Although not everyone can play with fiat, you can choose to display your crypto balance in 18 fiat currencies. Stake only facilitates fiat transactions from players from certain countries: Japan, Canada, and Brazil.

If you don’t have crypto, you can buy it directly at Stake using the on-site exchange (Stake is partnered with MoonPay).

There is also an Exchange tab on your account, where you can trade several altcoins for an equivalent amount in one of Stake’s available cryptos.

Payment Speed and Safety

I’m always a proponent of easy, safe, and fast deposits. Whenever I review a casino, I keep these criteria in mind.

Stake Casino does rate well in all aspects. For instance, the processing times for all currencies are usually immediate, although the speed of the blockchain network can influence that.

Additionally, Stake’s two-factor identification process should ensure the safety of your data if you choose to take advantage of it.

Most importantly, Stake has no deposit limits whatsoever.

Many casinos are forced to restrict how much you can play with for regulation purposes. But, since Stake is based in Curaçao, it doesn’t need to follow these restrictive rules—and that’s why I also ranked it as one of the best no limit casinos.

How to Make Stake Deposits?

If you’re wondering how to deposit at Stake, you’re not the only one! This question seems to be on everyone’s lips, and I’m going to answer it in a few simple steps:

  • Buy your favorite crypto at any reliable exchange. (You’ll need a trustworthy crypto wallet to get the ball rolling)
  • Sign up at Stake (make sure you use an email address you check often).
  • Complete KYC requirements.
  • Select your preferred cryptocurrency and receive a unique casino address.
  • Send tokens from your wallet to the address.
  • Wait for the transaction to process.
  • Start playing!

I found the deposit process incredibly easy and transparent. I received notifications during the confirmation stage, as well. Another thumbs up for Stake!

Stake Withdrawals

Stake has a well-oiled withdrawal process. Once you’ve settled the matter of KYC, you’re good to go.

I’ve withdrawn crypto from Stake on several occasions and:

  • I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes.
  • I’ve never experienced any blockers or issues.

Naturally, the speed of your transaction depends on your chosen crypto and network speed.

Now, on the matter of limits and fees…

Are There Stake Withdrawal Limits?

Yes, but they’re very approachable. So approachable, in fact, that Stake isn’t just our top high-roller casino, but also our best low-limit crypto casino.

Here are Stake’s withdrawal limits (and gas fees) for the most popular cryptos:

stake withdrawal limits

How to Withdraw from Stake?

As I’ve already mentioned, cashing out at Stake is super simple. Even so, if you’re new to making withdrawals, I’ll walk you through the process:

  • Head over to the ‘wallet section’ in the site’s header.
  • Choose your preferred crypto.
  • Select the ‘withdraw’ tab.
  • Enter the wallet address you want to send your funds to.
  • Wait for the transaction to land in your wallet.

That’s all there is to it. Stake has gone above and beyond to make the process as simple as possible, and that’s a huge green flag in my book.

Customer Support

You can ask your questions any time of the day

5/5

Any questions or problems that might come up will be taken care of by the friendly support team. You can contact them via email or live chat.

Although I think both options are more than satisfactory, I found that using the live chat does tend to provide quicker, more personalized support, so I suggest you use it as your preferred channel.

Stake Casino promises that a team member will answer your questions within a few minutes. And, I can confidently say they are fast and efficient from all the interactions I had with the customer support team.

Stake Live Chat Test

Unfortunately, this casino doesn’t offer a FAQ page, so you will need to get in touch with any questions you may have. There is, however, a blog and a forum where you can find some answers.

The blog features over 100+ engaging articles, news updates, how-to guides, as well as explanations of crypto and sports terms, including the latest Stake news.

Apart from the community engagement over the website, Stake is also active on the following social media platforms:

  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Instagram

As I mentioned before, there is also a players’ chat on the right-hand side of the page, which is perfect if you have some general questions that fellow players might answer or if you want to chat with like-minded people.
