Moonbet is a decentralized casino and sportsbook with an expansive offering that could satisfy even the pickiest players. The Dapp boasts over 2,200 games, ranging from live casino to slots - and even a few in-house provably fair titles to boot! This community-owned casino even has its own token - MBET - which you can use to play to your heart's content.
Pros & Cons
+3 provably fair, original games
+40+ sportsbook categories
-No welcome bonus
-Slow live chat
No welcome bonus, but some other offers are up for grabs!
We’ll start with the (semi) bad news first: Moonbet, like most decentralized casinos, does not offer a traditional welcome bonus. However, they try to make up for this with several other offers for new and loyal players alike:
Once every 24 hours, you can claim your Daily Bonus. The amount you’ll receive depends on a few different factors:
- Your past 24 hours of wagering
- Your profit and loss
- The games you play
Note that if you don’t claim the previous day’s bonus within 24 hours, it will expire. In other words, you’ll need to sign in and play every day if you want to be consistently rewarded. Sneaky sneaky, Moonbet!
And there are other terms to contend with, as well. Namely, upon claiming this bonus, only 20% of the reward will be credited to your balance immediately. You’re probably wondering, what about the other 80%?!
Well, this gets added to your Rewards Calendar and is split over 7 days.
Up next, you’ve got the Weekly Bonus to look forward to. It works in a similar fashion to the Daily Bonus, and comes with the following strings attached:
- You’ll need to reach the Bronze rank.
- The reward amount is based on your recent betting activity.
- Only 20% will be credited to your account at first.
- The other 80% will be added to your calendar and split over 7 days.
- The bonus is released on Sundays.
Again, you’ll need to reach the Bronze rank before you’re eligible to claim the Monthly Bonus. And, once again, the amount is personalized – based on your profit and loss over the past month. You can claim the bonus on the 1st day of every month and, surprise surprise, 80% of the amount will be split over 30 days.
Moonbet’s version of a VIP program takes the form of a Level-Up Bonus. Each time you reach a milestone (a certain amount wagered), you can claim a reward. At this point, it should come as no shock to hear that you’ll only receive 20% of it upfront, and the rest will need to be split over 21 days.
The more, the merrier! At least, that’s what Moonbet believes. You can invite other users to play at the casino, and receive a referral bonus based on their first wager amount.
Note that the higher your VIP level, the higher the commission you’ll receive per bet. Depending on your current level, the commission rate ranges from 5% to 20%.
By the way, don’t use your own referral code, as this will most likely get you banned!
Where Can You Use Your Bonuses?
Despite the various terms and conditions, it seems like Moonbet has some pretty decent bonuses up for grabs.
Now, we don’t want to burst your bubble, but you need to know that there are a limited number of games on which you can use your bonus. These include:
- Certain house games
When you claim any Moonbet bonus, the amount will be added to your wallet in the form of ‘USDo’. To add further insult to injury, bonuses come with wagering requirements.
Slots contribute 100% to fulfilling rollover requirements, while eligible house games only contribute 50%. And finally, for the nail in the coffin:
❌ The maximum amount you can win from a bonus or free spins is 100 USDT.
At this point, we can all probably agree that bonuses are not Moonbet’s strong point. However, there’s much more to look forward to at this innovative Web3 casino. And, if you stick around, you may just find something you like.
+Daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses
-No welcome bonus
-Complex terms and conditions
Look & Feel
Sleek, smooth, and intuitively designed.
Moonbet is nothing short of sleek, smooth, and most importantly – simple. You won’t find any frills and fanciness here. Upon entering the main lobby, you’ll be greeted by a dark and green color scheme, accompanied by a neat, logical layout.
If you couldn’t tell by now, we’re big fans of Moonbet’s aesthetic.
Navigating from one part of the site to another is a breeze, thanks to the intuitive side and header menus. Moonbet is divided into two sections – Casino and Sports – and switching between them is fast and easy.
In the main lobby, you’ll find 13 game/location categories with accompanying (and tasteful) icons to help you find your favorite casino past time.
Scrolling down to the footer, you’ll find links to helpful resources and a glimpse at the different software providers responsible for Moonbet’s vast games library.
Moonbet on Mobile?
We’re well aware that most users like to play on the go, which is why we made sure to give Moonbet a spin on both Android and iOS devices. After some testing, the team weighed their opinions.
And, we’re happy to report that the site is extremely mobile-friendly. In our experience, mobile functionality was top-tier. We enjoyed fast loading times, well-adjusted menus, and an interface perfectly suited to small screens.
Hats off to Moonbet for this feat!
+Dark, sleek aesthetic
+Fast loading speeds
2,200+ games plus a sportsbook!
Usually, crypto casino Dapps don’t have the most extensive game libraries. Not Moonbet, though.
With its massive library of over 2,200 games, this Dapp has something to satisfy even the pickiest player. You’ll find a variety of titles and categories at this casino, including:
- Live casino
- Table games
- Game shows
- Sports betting
- Provably fair titles
Enough suspense – let’s unpack Moonbet’s offering in more detail!
Moonbet is a powerhouse in the slots department. With thousands of titles up for grabs, you’ll have no trouble finding classic favorites and newer indie titles. Standing testament to this casino Dapp’s solid offering is the list of big-wig developers behind Moonbet’s selection. You’ll recognize household names like:
- Pragmatic Play
- Play’n Go
- And many more!
You can try your luck with a whole assortment of low, medium, or high-volatility titles. Plus, RTPs range from 90% all the way up to 99%!
Moonbet has 3 provably fair, in-house games. While this is a relatively low number (especially when compared to competitors like BC.Game and Stake who both offer dozens of original titles), Moonbet has put in the work to make their offering worthwhile.
You can enjoy a sleek and simplified version of dice, lottery, and Crash – the ultimate crypto gambling game of chance. In each game, you’ll have the option of checking the fairness of the outcome yourself.
This is perfect if you’re looking for a 100% fair and verifiable online gambling experience.
More of a classics fan? No worries – Moonbet has you covered there, too. The casino offers 16 standard table games, including:
If you like live dealer games, your options are even more expansive. You can enjoy 90+ live casino titles, ranging from baccarat to craps – and pretty much everything in between. We tried a few different titles and enjoyed seamless streaming, charming hosts, and fuss-free withdrawals in every test run.
Our favorite Moonbet live dealer game?
- Speed Roulette by Evolution, without a doubt!
Moonbet Sports Betting
We’re super impressed with Moonbet’s expansive sportsbook. You can bet on more than 40 different sports and categories! That’s almost as many as one of our all-time favorite sportsbooks, Cloudbet.
Aside from offering up more traditional sports markets like football, basketball, and tennis, this casino is perfect for players looking to bet on eSports with Bitcoin. You’ll find all the popular eSport markets, including:
- League of Legends
- Dota 2
- Wild Rift
You can also look forward to competitive odds, crystal-clear live streaming, and an intuitive bet slip from this fantastic sportsbook.
-Only 3 in-house games
Licensing & Safety
Solid Curaçao license.
Is Moonbet Legit?
That’s the question on everyone’s lips, and we’re happy to say that yes – Moonbet is a legit and licensed casino. The Dapp received a Curaçao license back in 2021
This license ensures that the casino upholds industry standards in the way of encryption and data protection.
Aside from this license, Moonbet promotes player safety by facilitating self-exclusion, which you can request for a certain period – or indefinitely.
Moonbet is Community-Owned
Moonbet is a decentralized application (Dapp), which is why it can facilitate anonymous deposits and withdrawals – without ever asking for KYC. Yup, you heard that right. No KYC. Like other Dapps, Moonbet isn’t owned by one group or party. It’s a community-owned application.
Did you know that you can own a part of Moonbet? Simply purchase MBET tokens and you’re set. Note that 50% of casino profits are distributed to MBET holders in the form of BUSD. The other 50%? That’s used to maintain the platform. As a holder, you’ll also be able to take part in votes and have a say in the future of the project.
Fast deposits with multiple cryptos.
Moonbet supports several cryptos with which you can deposit and withdraw. Currently, these include:
Moonbet’s crypto selection is on the smaller side, especially when you compare it to titans like BC.Game which supports 65+ coins, so we’ll need to deduct a point here.
Bitcoin players, note that Moonbet supports 0 confirmation BTC deposits – provided your gas fee is greater than 4.979 sat/b. In any other case, your deposit will need 1 confirmation before it’s credited.
In order to transact at this casino, you’ll need to connect to your wallet. It’s super simple! Just click on the ‘Connect’ button in the upper right corner to start the process.
Core Tokens vs Community Tokens
There are two types of tokens at Moonbet: core tokens, and community tokens.
- Core tokens: mainstream tokens like BTC, ETH, BNB, and stablecoins.
- Community tokens: tokens for other DEFI projects.
Community token holders must contend with lower deposit and withdrawal limits – $1,000 (or crypto equivalent) per week.
You can check the classification of your token of choice next to your wallet balance.
Deposits & Withdrawals
We hooked up our MetaMask wallet and tested the deposit and withdrawal process at this casino. The results?
- A speedy, fuss-free experience with no KYC checks.
+Community tokens supported
-Small selection of cryptos
-Withdrawal limits for community tokens
Help is here, but it may be slow.
You can get help at Moonbet via:
- Live chat
- Casino help center
We tested the site’s live chat feature, and we weren’t thrilled with how long it took to get a response. As for the help center, this was more comprehensive and actually answered a bunch of our questions.
Moonbet is available in the following languages:
It’s a good start – but we’re looking forward to seeing this casino making an effort to become more accessible to international players in the near future.
The Dapp is also active across social media – a big green flag in our books! You can find them on:
+Extensive help center
+5 languages available
+Social media presence
-Slow live chat response time
