Stake – Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin Casino
Stake has been operating since 2018 with a Curacao License. Added to that is the fact that they are officially verified by the Crypto Gambling Foundation (CGF). This means Stake’s games have an added layer of provable fairness. They have a very clear vision for their product, which we were very surprised by as you will later understand.
Getting started is super easy: pick a username, prove you’re not a robot and establish a password. Once you’re signed up you’ll get some free Bitcoin to try their games. To get access to their faucet you’ll need to verify your account with a valid e-mail address.
The Crypto Gambling Foundation is the third party entity responsible for auditing the fairness of their games. Stake has a very positive stance on this subject which is great to see. This adds a lot of value to their product! They even discriminate the house’s edge on each of their games (check image above), which is absolutely fantastic.
Right off the bat we can tell you that the whole experience navigating through Stake’s platform and playing their games is incredibly refreshing! Completely different from most online casinos where you can always expect flashing stuff, incessant bonus ads and other shiny gibberish. Stake’s graphical interface is incredibly clean. The whole design gives you a feeling of being on a journey rather than on a gambling frenzy.
This is no coincidence, their vision is to provide exactly this sensation we described. It was only after we realized this on our own that we came across this:
“We’re tired of scammy deposit bonuses, slow and limited withdrawals, ‘free’ gifts with ‘roll-over’ requirements and unverifiable bets. We’ve created a transparent experience that is truly fair from all angles from the player being able to prove bets aren’t rigged, to honest, clear & fun gameplay and bonuses.” – in Stake’s FAQ
Before we discuss this it is compulsory to say that all their games are proprietary games. There is no direct association with external game providers. Again, the provability of the game’s fairness is ensured by the CGF, so no need for worries about being cheated. All games are 100% provably fair.
The fact they operate exclusively with proprietary games makes the whole platform look like one big, continuous fun fair. They currently have 12 games.
Below each game you will see a question mark button “?” that explains the rules of the games. This is particularly useful because they not only offer traditional casino games like blackjack, roulette, dice etc. but also original games like Chartbet, where you can bet on a fictional stock price and cashout before the market crashes. Anyone out there feeling like Warren Buffett?
Promotions and Challenges
There are currently no bonuses on Stake but this doesn’t imply that they don’t offer activities to spice up the experience. If you follow their Twitter, blog or their forum on bitcointalk.org you will find many promotions and challenges that you can participate on. On that note, there are even some giveaways created by users.
You can tell by this kind of stuff and their very active chat that there is a strong community behind Stake. Perhaps because of their transparency and “players first” policy?
Deposit & Withdrawal
Cryptocurrencies officially supported are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC). You can make deposits with altcoins through Shapeshift too.
There are no minimum deposits. Minimum withdrawal is 0.002 BTC. Usually all withdrawals are resolved within 24 hours.
Very helpful staff available 24/7 through chat support. Other issues can be solved by e-mail.
Stake have just completed a major upgrade on their platform and the result is outstanding.
The design and graphical interface really build a clean, seamless experience. On top of this there is the great policy they employ of not acting dirty. There is transparency in almost every aspect of their product. This is evident on the fact that you know the house edge on every game, and all games are 100% provably fair proprietary games.
We found no major issues on Stake, aside from a minor hiccup when trying to login sometimes. The list of games could be bigger, however we’re happy with the fact that they prefer to have their own proprietary games with their own touch.
Overall we would definitely recommend Stake.com!
